The near-term demand for health care workers in the Baltimore metropolitan area remained steady during the 4th quarter of 2011. Of particular note during the quarter, Bon Secours announced several small hiring additions in both the nursing and primary care medicine areas.
On a comparative basis, the Baltimore health care labor market has remained relatively steady for the past three quarters after a strong Q1 this year. Its LMPI score of 45.9 for Q4 2011, flat from the prior quarter, come in under to the national composite index of 52.9, up 6% from the prior quarter.
